Easter Morning in St. George

We went to St. George for Easter to Bryan's parents. We loved the weather, good food and good company! Gracie and Grandpa were connected at the hip almost the entire time. Gracie loves him so much they have had a tight bond since Gracie was a little baby. She perfers Grandpa over anyone in the world! Even over Bry and I. Gracie loved her Easter Basket this year!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Deharts

We had a Easter egg hunt at my sisters the Sunday before Easter and Gracie had a ball.
I taught Gracie a couple days before how to hold her basket and pick up the eggs. She
loved it and thought it was a fun game. She calls the Easter Bunny "Hop Hop" it's so cute!

Starting the hunt.

Good job Gracie!!

With the Dehart clan.

French Bread

Ok I just had to brag about this because I just made the prettiest french bread I've ever made last week. This is the best French Bread ever! I got the recipe from Bryan's Mom a while back and I make it like every other week we love it. We usually use one loaf for Garlic Bread and the other for French Toast in the morning. It's really easy to make and the dough is so fun to work with.

2 C. Hot Water
2 Tbsp. Yeast
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Salt
1/2 C. Oil
5 C. Flour
2 Tbsp. Wheat Gluten

The ingred. is in order and you just mix it in your mixer on low for 8 min. Then you take the dough out of the bowl and put a little flour on your hands and counter and punch down then let it rise for 10 min. and punch down and get all the air bubbles out then let it rise for 10 min. again. You repeat this four times. Then divide into two loafs shape and slit the top four times and baste the top with egg whites with a pastry brush. Yummy yummy yummy!!!

Gracie's favorite thing of the trip by far was Laura's dog Roxy! She followed him everywhere pointing at him and saying "Dog woof woof" and she loved to try and get her to chase her it was so funny. We also got to be there to celebrate Carter's Birthday while we were there. Her in laws took the whole fam and friends out to like this up scale Chuckey Cheese place that had way cooler rides then Chuckey Cheese and better food! This was such a fun trip and we miss them already.

Trip to California

So after Tennesse I went home for a week and then Gracie and I went to Sacramento to visit my bestest friend Laura and her little boy Carter. We had a blast! The weather was between 65 to 75 degrees the whole time so we hit up the parks almost everyday. This was Gracie's first time being able to run around at a park since she started walking this winter and she loved it. Carter and Gracie are actually a lot a like both mellow personalitys love there Daddy's and have to suck there thumbs with ther blankets.

Trip to Tennesse

Sorry I know I'm way late on these posts. So the middle of February I went to Tennesse to help my cousin with her new baby. And I got there just in time to see the baby when she was born and to grab a side by side picture of my cousin and I when we're both pregnant. I had lots of fun playing dress up with little Elizabeth and changing newborn diapers. I can't belive Gracie was ever that small! I also had fun hanging out with my Mom and Aunt who came too. The only bummer about the trip was being away from Gracie for ten days! It was hard but it made me appreciate her way more and realize how much I love being her Mommy! Gracie stayed with Grandma Burnett in St. George and had a blast.

It's a Girl!

We're having another little girl! We are very excited for Gracie to have a little sis. I've loved being close with my sister so I'm so glad for Gracie to have the same experience. The ultrasound went well and all is good with the bun in the oven. We are so blessed! I was talking to my friend Ali after the ultrasound about how it's going to be nice not to have to buy very many clothes for her because we have so many girl clothes now from Gracie. Ali has two girls as well and pointed out to me that now I'm going to want them to be matching all the time. I thought about it and was like oh shoot your right. Sorry Bryan maybe were not going to be saving as much money on little girl clothes as I thought we were. LOL..
