Thanksgiving Point

Bryan and I took Gracie to Thanksgiving Point farm to see the animals. She loves animals but especially the pony she got to ride on. Despite the look on her face she just loved riding the pony. When our turn was over and I pulled her off she started kicking and screaming. LOL.. It's a good thing we saved the pony ride for the very last. There's also a good side profile of me in the first picture of my growing belly :) I can't believe this baby will be here a month and 1/2!

A Day at the Dehart Farm

We had so much fun at my sisters farm last Friday! Gracie and I invited some of her friends and there Moms to come and see all the little farm animals. They loved seeing and petting them! They have a bunch of goats who just had baby goats, baby pigs, ponies, horses, chickens, roosters, dogs and peacocks. What a fun day!

Plants

We planted herbs, tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, onions, carrots, pumpkins and pull beans. We're also going to be planting strawberries and rasberries too. We know we are going to have so much of everything so let me know if you guys want some at the end of the summer because we will be giving a lot of it away:)

Starting Our Garden!

We started our garden today! Well Bryan did I stood there and pointed LOL.. I'm so excited we got this idea of doing two moon shaped rock beds from a article in a Home and Garden magazine. They tell you exactly what to plant and show you what your garden will look like by the end of the summer. We also did one long bed all against the fence where we are going to put bush beans and sunflowers. It's going to be a fun project and exciting to see the fruits of our labors well Bryan's labor until I get this watermelon out of me. Ha ha.. I well post updated pictures of our little gardens progress!
