The new addition to the family:)
So we inherited my Mom's dog recently. My Dad had an allergic reaction to her that's been building up the last three months they've had her. My Mom was very sad to let her go but is glad she didn't go too far. Well we had no intentions of getting a dog any time in the near future, mainly because of the whole puppy phase and the maintenance and I'm busy enough running around after two toddlers. So we decided to put her (Gigi) on a trial period to see how she'd fit into our home and our schedules, and how the girls would do with her. Well about a week later we decided, (we think anyway) we're going to keep Gigi. And the main reason is her and Gracie have made a tight bond between each other and it would break my heart to tear them apart now. Gracie is constantly giggling and laughing hysterically when she's with her. I mean not much makes her happier then to be with this dog. The other nice thing is she is litter box trained so we don't have to take her outside every time she needs to go potty and she doesn't shed. She also doesn't bark when she's downstairs in her pin unless it's time for her to eat, it also helps that she is completely adorable LOL. The only one who's not very good to her is Sabi, she doesn't really understand that she needs to be gentle with her yet, but luckily for Gigi she's a fast learner and a fast runner so Sabi can never catch her.

Happy St. Pattys Day!
We had my parents over for dinner on St. Patricks Day for our traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage meal. Usually Bryan is in charge of this meal because this is his all time favorite dinner of the year. But this year it was up to me and I was a little scared it wouldn't turn out, but Bryan and my parents said it was the best corned beef they've ever had. And I must admit not being a be corned beef and cabbage fan I actually loved it. Seeing how I have Irish blood in me (and the fact the Bryan is obsessed with this meal) I better know how to make a mean Corned Beef and Cabbage. I love celebrating all these fun little holidays. Any excuse to celebrate I'm in! My cousin Kendra made these darling St. Patty bows for my girls. She has a boutique called Littlest Boutique and it's online at ETSY.COM. She makes the cutest stuff for women and little girls.
